The BRAIDLOCK® is a specially-braided tube which allows for the quick and easy securement of a medical line or drain to a patient, and its simple adjustment by trained clinicians. It is designed to replace the incumbent options (usually plaster and gauze) which do not secure lines as securely as often required.
The device increases in diameter when compressed, allowing the insertion of a line or catheter. When the braided tube is released it contracts thereby gripping the device along its entire length.

Suture
This is our original product which offers a refined simplicity. The BRAIDLOCK® attaches by means of two suture loops. There are a total of four pin-pricks to the skin which ensure the device’s stability and minimum risk of infection (as the skin around the BRAIDLOCK® can be cleaned so easily).

Hook & loop
The hook & loop attachment provides an extra level of patient comfort without compromising safety. The hook & loop can be easily removed and re-applied, thus facilitating cleaning in and around the wound, and readjustment as required.

Adhesive
Simply remove adhesive seal and attach the BRAIDLOCK® to skin for a secure and needle-free fixation, avoiding needlestick injury. The unique chevron shape allows for maximum grip, over a minimum area. Lines can be fully adjusted while the adhesive remains securely in place. (Line not included). |
