Since 2004, we have been developing and trialling novel products for chest drains, paediatric umbilical catheters, peripheral lines and more.

As a result the initial medical device has been improved over the years as part of an iterative process. We now offer three devices that have global patent protection:

• suture fixation
• adhesive fixation
• hook-and-loop fixation

Each version uses a braided sleeve mechanism to provide an immensely secure yet easily adjustable anchor to most existing drains, lines and catheters. This allows incremental removal where required without the current amounts of time or materials needed to reaffix the drain, catheter or line.

Our devices reduce risks to the patient, operating staff, hospital, and to the health authority by standardising the method of attachment. This minimises the area of possible infection and provides a secure attachment. By allowing the incremental removal of lines, our product helps to reduce the risk of the patient experiencing the trauma and shock of attachments being pulled or falling out as is possible with current securement techniques.
